IIM-Raipur inks pact with NSE Academy for knowledge partner

NSE Academy Limited (NAL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) has signed an MoU/agreement with Indian Institute of Management, Raipur (IIM-Raipur) to collaborate in the area of joint certification programs in finance and related financial technologies.

Under the agreement, both the institutions will offer market defining, several long term and short-term programs for working professionals and organizations willing to build leadership capabilities in the area of finance and financial technologies. These programs will offer an overall development to the participants and groom them to face the global challenges. These programs will be offered in online and hybrid mode both and certified by both the institutions.

Vikram Limaye, MD and CEO NSE said: “NSE has always been at the forefront of driving innovation in the Indian BFSI sector. Our collaboration with a premium institution like the Indian Institute of Management, Raipur will build a solid foundation for professionals aspiring to build careers and upskill themselves in areas of financial services and related technologies.”

Speaking on the occasion, Abhilash Misra, Chief Executive Officer, NSE Academy Ltd. said “This collaboration with IIM Raipur will add to NSE Academy’s integral role in developing competitive skill sets for finance professionals along with regular upskilling required for the talent pool to be future-ready.”

IIM Raipur Director, Prof. Bharat Bhasker, emphasized on the need to bridge the gap between industry and academia and the commitment of IIM Raipur towards the same. He said that this collaboration will lead to Human Resource Development in the country by providing better trained financial managers to the nation.

Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Dean (Academics), signed the MoU on behalf of IIM Raipur.
