Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chhattisgarh-based Center for Studies on Holistic Development (CSHD) to foster collaboration in research, training, outreach, and academic engagement.
The MoU, signed by Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur, and Satish Gokul Panda, Secretary, CSHD, aims to build a framework for joint efforts in areas of mutual interest such as development economics, governance, sustainability, and rural entrepreneurship. The collaboration also focuses on interdisciplinary research, leadership development, and impactful policy initiatives.
Key areas of collaboration include:
· Joint research projects, policy briefs, and working papers
· Field-based studies and regional case research
· Training programs and leadership workshops for youth and administrators
· Mentorship for student-led social impact initiatives and startups
· Co-hosting seminars, conferences, and policy dialogues
· Expert participation in joint programs and curriculum inputs
· Access to academic and data resources for mutual benefit
Prof Kakani stated “Our partnership with CSHD is a purposeful step toward connecting academic excellence with grassroots realities.
