The Indian Institute of Management Raipur is organizing the 3rd International conference on Digital Economy (ICDE) and 14th ISDSI Annual Conference.
The three-day event will be organized from December 27 to 29 online. The theme of the conference is ‘Building New Digital Ecosystem’. CEO and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra C P Gurnani will inaugurate the conference. ICDE aims to deliberate on pertinent issues and challenges related to the digital economy and digital ecosystem.
Several research papers will be presented across parallel tracks on topics including Advanced Research in Technology Management, Analytics and Decision Sciences, Advances in Consumer Behaviour Research, Application of Information Systems Organization Performance, Asset Pricing, Banking and other Financial Institutions, Branding and Digital Marketing Studies, Contemporary Issues in Career Management, Decision Sciences Applications, E-commerce Research, HRM and Agile Workspace, and many more.
Along with the participation from research scholars across the country, the conference receives support from academics, the industry, and practitioners as well. Professor Tobias Schoenherr (Michigan State University, USA) is delivering the inaugural address. Professor Yogesh Dwivedi (Swansea University, Wales, UK), Prof M Daud Ahmed (Manukau Institute of Technology, New Zealand),Prof Ramachandran Natrajan (Tennessee Tech University, USA), Prof Sushil K Gupta (Florida International university, USA), Dr PallabSaha (The Open Group), Professor Jie Yu (University of Nottingham Ningbo, China), Professor Ravinder Rena (North – West University, South Africa), Mr. K Vaitheeswaran (Entrepreneur & Author), Professor Chandan Chowdhury (ISB, Hyderabad), Dr. C Jayakumar (VP & Head – Corporate Human Resources, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.), Mr. Avinash Arora (Director, Augmented Transformation), and Professor Prashant Palvia (Bryan School of Business & Economics, UNC Greensboro, University of North Carolina, USA) are the dignitaries and speakers addressing the participants in various events.
Professor Bharat Bhasker (Director IIM Raipur), Professor Mahadeo Jaiswal (Director IIM Sambalpur, President ISDSI), Professor Bhimaraya Metri (Director IIM Nagpur), Professor Ravi Kumar Jain (Director SIBM Hyderabad), and Professor Khedkar Eknath (Vice President DSI Asia Pacific Division) will inaugurate the conference and conduct a special director’s panel where they will be discussing about the future of management education in India
There is a pre-conference event aimed towards building research capabilities of research scholars where Professor Sriram Narayanan (Michigan State University, USA), Professor Sunil Mithas (University of South Florida, USA), and Professor Hee-Woong-Kim, (Yonsei University, South Korea) will be addressing the participants of the doctoral colloquium. The colloquium also has a proposal and a paper development workshop being conducted by esteemed professors from the leading B-schools of our country. The panel discussions, talks, paper presentations, and workshops will allow both academics and industry to jointly explore the research opportunities and extend their networks.
