The Bilaspur chapter of Indian Mines Managers Association (IMMA) and South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) jointly organised a workshop on Harit Mining (green mining).
The innovative workshop, which is named HM-21 (harit mining 21), was inaugurated on Wednesday by CMD of SECL Dr Prem Sagar Mishra.
The SECL CMD along with D Sunil Kumar and Chief Vigilance Officer SECL Himanshu Jain, Regional General Managers, IMMA Bilaspur Chapter President Ramesh Kumar Singh, (General Manager Industrial Engineering Department) – Head of Department, IMMA Dhanbad R.K. Sharma and all the participants flagged off the Haritra Rath. The Rath (chariot) is equipped with all the required resources set and will roll in the SECL mining areas to spread the message and to explain and propagate the facts that sensitize at the ground level.
Under the campaign, they will reach all the workplaces of SECL’s 13 areas and three central units and propagate the basic idea of 21 days and spread the information about the responsibility and other measures to ensure the quality of coal at the grassroots level. After brainstorming and making it a habit by practicing 21 days of continuous environment-friendly and selected activities that ensure the quality of coal, by taking the productivity oath on National Production Productivity Day, the targets set by well-established actions will be achieved easily.
