Janparishad, a leading social organisation of Central India, celebrated the festival of lights with pomp and fervor, stressing to expand its footprint across the country by year end.
Ramji Srivastava, the convener of Janparishad, informed that a slew of decisions was taken that included the target of opening 200 chapters in the country and 20 chapters abroad by the end of the year. Besides, the Janparishad will also accelerate its membership drive. During the meeting, the members also took stock of the preparations for the 32nd annual function scheduled to be held on December 11 in Bhopal.
Presiding over the Deepawali meeting, Chairman and former Director General of Police (DGP) N K Tripathi said that discipline and dedication were the most important for the development and upgradation of any institution. The prosperity of Janparishad lies behind it and has been a driving factor for the achievement of the organisation.
Tripathi said with the existing 135 chapters across the country and 5 chapters abroad, the responsibility of Janparishad becomes more important.
Vice President and former DGP Mahan Bharat said punctuality, presentation and discipline were very important for any progress.
Vice President Admiral Rakesh Pandit congratulated all the members for the installation of the 135th chapter of Janparishad. Vice President Ravi Bilgaiyan said that under the leadership of Chairman and the Vice President, new responsibilities are also being fulfilled very well.
Women’s Wing President Mrs. Kamal Choubey, Ramji Srivastava, Rajendra Nigam, Arvind Srivastava, Mukesh Rai, O N Choubey, Brijendra Tiwari, Manohar Punjabi, Mohan Agarwal, Nitin Srivastava, Vinod Srivastava, Ms. Anu Sapan, Prof. Anita Puri Singh, Mrs. Tripathi, Mrs. Pandit, Mrs. Sagar, Mrs. Aarti Mehta, Mrs. Bilgaiyan, Mrs. Sarla Srivastava, Mrs. Sarita Srivastava and Mrs. Manju Sarathe also expressed their views.
After the meeting, the poetry of well-known poet Ms. Anu Sapan enthralled the audience.
