Jayant Kumar Khamari on Wednesday took over as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL ).
SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Dr Prem Sagar Mishra, Functional Directors, SECL steering committee members, company welfare board members, various heads of departments, officers-employees welcomed Khamari and congratulated him on assuming office.
Khamari is an Indian Railway Service of Engineers – IRSE (Civil) officer of 2008 batch and was earlier posted as Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. He passed Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination in the year 2007.
In addition, he also holds a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Saitama University, Japan. He started his career in the year 1998 with the Central Public Works Department (CPWD). During his career, he has served in various key positions in Indian Railways including Senior Divisional Engineer, Deputy Chief Engineer Construction, etc. in East Coast Railway.
Officers and employees of SECL expressed their happiness over Khamari assuming the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the company.
