Ranchi, July 6
Daughter of Jharkhand’s Chief Secretary Sukhdeo Singh passed away today morning in New Delhi.
She was 18 years old and was studying in a private university in the national capital. She was tested positive for COVID-19 last year and was hospitalized in Ranchi for a couple of weeks.
Sources said she developed some health issues and Sukhdeo Singh had rushed to Delhi a couple of days ago after giving additional charge to Arun Kumar Singh. Her health deteriorated today morning. Despite all efforts, she could not be saved. She was the youngest among two children of Sukhdeo Singh.
Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed their deepest condolences over the untimely demise of Chief Secretary’s daughter.
“Shocked to hear the sad news of the sudden demise of the daughter of the Chief Secretary of the State Shri Sukhdev Singh ji. May God give peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear the difficult time. The entire state stands with Shri Sukhdev ji and his family in this hour of grief,” Soren took to the twitter.
