The Jindal Steel and Power (JSP) family celebrated the 93rd birth anniversary of the great visionary industrialist, philanthropist and steel giant, O P Jindal with pomp.
The Machinery Division at Jindal Steel and Power (JSP) in Raipur joined the celebration held across the country. After paying floral tributes at the statue of O P Jindal, fondly known as Bauji, the employees and officers took a pledge to walk in the path shown by him.
Different programmes were organized on this occasion starting with kirtan in the plant site temple followed by distribution of Prasad. The Jindal employees paid homage to their pioneer and Karmayoddha O P Jindal. Besides, fruits, sweets, clothes and other essential items were also distributed in the old aged home.
President of Jindal Steel and Power Pradeep Tandon, U P Singh, Rakesh Gupta and Business Unit Head Nilesh T Shah were present in the programme.
O P Jindal was known for his simplicity and full of affection for others, that’s why people used to call him as Bauji. Inspired by love for the motherland, he showed India the path of self-reliance, along with his hard work and commitment, he established OP Jindal’s group, which is playing an important role in nation building today.
