The Machinery Division of Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL), a company headed by eminent industrialist Naveen Jindal, today dispatched Dual Feed Cracker Block, an equipment for oil refining to Larsen & Toubro Company (L&T) for Barmer Refinery of HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited, a venture of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
The equipment was flagged off by Nilesh T. Shah, Business Unit Head of the Machinery Division. The presence of Krishnamurthy Ratnam, Senior Deputy General Manager (Onshore), and Deepak Subudhi, Manager, Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering was notable on the occasion.
According to a press release issued here, the Machinery Division of JSPL is manufacturing and supplying various types of equipment for Barmer Refinery and in the series Duel Feed Cracker Block has been supplied today, which is the first equipment for the refinery to be delivered on the spot and the credit goes to JSPL-Machinery Division. This supply has been made three months ahead of the schedule.
Shah informed that the machinery division has supplied 27 presser vessels to Tata Project Limited for the same project recently. He congratulated the team of engineers for this achievement and expressed gratitude to Mr. Naveen Jindal and the top management of the company for their guidance and encouragement.
He said that Larsen & Toubro Company has entrusted various jobs for the supply of machines to the Machinery Division and the Structural Steel Division of JSPL, which his team is committed to completing before the stipulated time.
Krishnamurthy Ratnam, Senior Deputy General Manager (Onshore), Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering, expressed happiness over the supply of equipment and said that JSPL is one of the most trusted companies in the world with a view to supplying international quality equipment within a stipulated timeframe.
Unit Head Arvind Tagai, HR & ES head Suryoday Dubey, Rakesh Gupta, Kulbir Saini, Ravindra Chauhan, and Ravinder Sharma were also present on the occasion.
