Chhattisgarh’s Para player Shrimant Jha will represent India in the World Para Claw-Wrestling Championship.
The International Championship will be held in Romania from 26 November to 4 December.
Shrimant Jha is now working with JSPL-Raipur and he has confirmed his place in the Indian team by winning a medal in the national competition. Shrimant worked hard for the international competition and is being considered a strong contender for the medal.
Shrimant Jha said that he has prepared well for the international competition. He has won 40 international medals for the country in various competitions. Presently Shrimant Jha is ranked third in the world and first in Asia.
He expressed his gratitude to the Chairman, JSPL, Naveen Jindal, who always inspired him for the grand success.
Shrimant Jha said that he would try his level best to win the medal. He has thanked his colleagues and Jindal Steel and Power Limited
for their cooperation in preparing for the Championship. Shrimant has displayed his sportsmanship in many national and international competitions in the past and has made India proud by winning many gold and silver medals.
