K C Tyagi likely to be new chairman of JDU parliamentary Board

Veteran JDU leader and former Secretary General of the JDU K C Tyagi is likely to be appointed as new chairman of JDU parliamentary Board.

The post was lying vacant after Upendra Kushwaha quit JDU last month.

In the reorganised JDU executive, name of Tygai was missing leading to speculation that he had been dropped from the list. A former MLA from Islampur Rajib Ranjan, who had deserted BJP and joined JDU last month has been appointed national spokesman as successor of Tyagi. Rajib is from Nalanda district, home place of the Chief  Minister, NItish Kumar.

JDU in a press release today clarified that media is circulating wrong message regarding the exclusion of  senior party leader, K C Tyagi from the newly constituted national office bearers list.

The leaders selected by the National President, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh have been accommodated in the new list. There are 22 General Secretaries in the list. Magani Lal Mandal, a former MP has been appointed vice-president.
