Krishna Kumar Singh took over as the Executive Director (Personnel and Administration) of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant today .
Having passed out from Banaras Hindu University with B. Tech degree in Electrical Engineering before joining SAIL, Singh also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Indira Gandhi Open University.
Born on 1st July, 1968, Singh started his career in SAIL as Junior Manager on 8th July, 1988 at Bhilai Steel Plant. Promoted as Manager on 30th June, 1996, he worked in Blooming and Billet Mill. Thereafter, on June 30, 2001, he was promoted as Senior Manager and posted in Human Resource Development Department where he was made Assistant General Manager on June 30, 2005.
On February 19, 2008, Singh was posted as the Chief Education Officer in the Department of Education. He was promoted as Deputy General Manager (Education) on June 30, 2010. As DGM, he was transferred from the Education Department to the CEO Secretariat on August 18, 2011. He was promoted as General Manager on June 30, 2015. He was posted as General Manager on 18th February, 2017 in the Operations Directorate of SAIL’s Corporate Office at Delhi. On May 1, 2017, K K Singh was made the General Manager of Vigilance Department in the Corporate Office where he later became General Manager in-charge on March 12, 2018.
Singh was promoted as Executive Director (Personnel and Administration) of Bhilai Steel Plant on November 16, 2018. Subsequently, on 26 October 2019, he was transferred to SAIL Corporate Office where he served as Executive Director (Personnel and Administration). On December 31, 2021, he was transferred to Bhilai Steel Plant as Executive Director (Personnel and Administration).
Today, on 20th January, 2022, Singh took over as ED (P&A) of BSP.
