Lara station observes NTPC’s Raising Day with splendour

The 48th Raising Day of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited was celebrated enthusiastically at Lara station on Monday.

Diwakar Kaushik, BUH (NTPC Lara), unfurled the NTPC flag that was followed by reciting of NTPC Geet by all employees. Kaushik addressed the gathering, highlighting the various milestones that NTPC and Lara station achieved recently. He also expressed his happiness by proactive effort of all employees to achieve better generation parameters by their consistent effort.

Kaushik thanked all employees for achieving 100 per cent availability in the month of October 2022 and highest monthly DC of 103.95 per cent amongst NTPC stations.

A cake-cutting ceremony was organized to mark the occasion. All General Managers Head of Departments, Additional General Managers, representatives of unions and associations were present on this occasion.

Just after completion of raising day ceremony at the station, all employees attended the programme in which NTPC CMD Gurdeep Singh addressed the workforce.

It is pertinent to mention that NTPC Limited, the largest power utility of India formed on November 7, 1975 to meet the power demand of country. In the journey of 47 years, NTPC has become a company of 70254 megawatt with the presence of entire value chain of power production, distribution, consultancy and coal mining.
