Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav Wednesday launched the ‘Agrdoot Portal’ of the Department of Public Relations.
Agradoot Portal is a unique initiative in itself, giving meaning to the mantra of “Information is Power”. This is the first time that such an innovative initiative has been taken by the Department of Public Relations of any state for the convenience of the citizens and to provide them with quick information.
A state government statement said under the leadership of Dr Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh government is making better use of the communication revolution to reach out to the citizens with transparency and to send information related to the schemes to the beneficiaries. At the launch, the Chief Minister sent his first message to the Ladli Behnas. The message is about transferring Rs 250 to the accounts of Ladli Behnas on 1st August as a shagun for Rakshabandhan.
The Agradoot portal prepared by the Department of Public Relations of the Government of Madhya Pradesh is an innovative initiative to disseminate information to the target group in a single click. Through the Agradoot portal, information can be delivered to the target audience of the state through a single click. After three-tier review through the portal, the message will be shared on the popular mobile messaging app – WhatsApp, and multimedia messages (graphics, text, links, videos) can also be shared simultaneously. Besides, information can be easily delivered to the citizens.
Agradoot Portal is an innovative initiative in the field of information revolution. This will allow the targeted citizens to be reached in less time. Information dissemination, wide communication, use of a comprehensive database, dissemination of information through WhatsApp, single click-based, user-friendly, three-tier approval process will be completed in less time.
The information required by the citizens of the state can be filtered from the Agradoot portal. Messages or information can be sent by dividing them category-wise, such as age, gender, caste, religion, occupation, disability, district, local body, area, and selecting them.
