Madhya Pradesh Govt to give Rs 20 crore aid each to Kerala and Tripura

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday announced to give financial assistance of Rs 20 crore each to Kerala and Tripura devastated by nature’s fury.

“To provide relief to the governments of Kerala and Tripura affected by the severe natural disaster, the state government has decided to release assistance of Rs 20 crore each,” Yadav said. He added that they had sympathies towards the disaster victims and the Madhya Pradesh government stands with both the states in this hour of crisis.

The Chief Minister has prayed to Lord Krishna to end this crisis as soon as possible.

Yadav made the announcement during discussion with the media at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium. He said that various states in the country including Madhya Pradesh were affected by heavy rains, floods, and landslides. In the last few days, incidents of severe natural disasters have occurred in the states of Tripura and Kerala, resulting in large-scale loss of life and property, which is extremely sad.
