Bhopal, January 14
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav interacted with industrialists of Shahdol division through video conferencing from Rewa Airport.
Talking about the Regional Investors Meet being organized on 16 January in Shahdol, the Chief Minister said that many investment proposals have been received for industrial development in the state. So far, proposals worth more than Rs 3.75 lakh-crore have been received which are expected to generate about 84 thousand jobs.
Yadav said that Shahdol division has received investment proposals worth Rs 20 thousand crore. Emphasizing the importance of all investments be it a proposal of Rs 10 crore investment or a Rs one crore investment, he urged district collectors to prepare new entrepreneurs for start-ups within two days. Highlighting 2025 as the ‘Year of Industry and Employment’ in the state, he noted that its objectives would be achieved through investors’ meets. Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, will inaugurate the Global Investors Meet in Bhopal on February 24, marking a proud moment for the state’s development.
The Chief Minister said that January 14, Makar Sankranti, is being celebrated as Women Empowerment Day across the state. He extended his greetings for the festival and highlighted the launch of a major water conservation initiative under the Jal Shakti Yojana in Ujjain. Emphasizing the importance of water conservation, he stated that prosperity in the state depends on ensuring water availability in every village and farm.
Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, MP Rewa Janardan Mishra, MLA Tyonthar Siddharth Tiwari, MLA Mangawan Engineer Narendra Prajapati, District Panchayat President Smt. Neeta Kol, District BJP President Ajay Singh were also present in the video conferencing.
Industrialists from Shahdol and Umaria districts participated in large numbers in the video conferencing. These included industrialist B Rama Rao of Sharda Steel of Shahdol district, Syed Qadiri of Ultratech Mining, Prakash Rastogi of SM Primal Process Private Limited, Sanullah Khan of YNA Industries Budhar, Navneet Singhania of Jai Kanhaiyalal Industries and industrialist Kamal Bajoria of Divyashree Infra Solar System Assembly and Erection. Industrialist Saharsh Agarwal of Agarwal Stone Crusher of Umaria district, Sunil Gupta of Sadguru Traders, Sarvagya Soni of SS Enterprises, Rakesh Singh of Ridhan Rice Mill and Kirti Kumar Soni of Triveni Traders participated in the video conferencing. Industrialist S Bhattacharya of JMS Mining of Anuppur district, Sahil Agarwal of Kamala Rice Mill, Avinash Agarwal of MG Agro Industries, Awadhesh Mishra of Orioils Private Limited and industrialist Sanjeet Gupta of Arindam Organic participated in the video conferencing.
