BJP National President J P Nadda on Friday slammed the family politics in many states and said the practice had set political heirs of the party.

Addressing a public meeting in Khargone after a road show, Nadda said whether it is Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh or Bihar, family politics prevailed in all the states. It had resulted in determining the successor in the party giving no room for grassroot workers.

At the same time, BJP stands tall with a large army of dedicated workers to serve the people. Describing the Congress as the party of Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka, the BJP President said that everyone else in the grand-old party was on contract and payroll.

Besides Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, National General Secretary of BJP Kailash Vijayvargiya and State President Vishnu Dutt Sharma also addressed the meeting.

Amidst chants in support of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister had brought honour for the country at different international forums. Nadda also listed out the achievements of Narendra Modi government while referring to many flagship schemes that include Ayushman Yojana, housing scheme, food grains scheme, schemes for the benefit of farmers, youth and women’s welfare. The execution of the schemes has changed the lifestyle of the people, he added.

Launching a scathing attack on Kamal Nath’s 15 months rule in Madhya Pradesh, Nadda said the Chief Minister returned more than 1.25 lakh Prime Minister’s residences without allocating them to the people. “It was a crime,” Nadda said, adding that Kamal Nath made only false promises to farmers and youth. The BJP President called upon the people and expressed confidence they would never allow such people to return to power.
