Madhya Pradesh will organize the Investors’ Submit in January besides hosting the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Indore.

Earlier, the Submit was scheduled to be organized on November 4, 5 and 6. “We have decided to change the date and now, the Investors’ Submit in Madhya Pradesh will be organized on January 7 and 8,” Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

Singh briefed the Prime Minister about the different welfare schemes and programmes going on in the state. “The Prime Minister is a man of ideas,” Singh said, adding that many issues discussed will be implemented in Madhya Pradesh.

“We requested to host next year’s Pravasi Bharatiya Divas that is held on January 9. Madhya Pradesh will organize it in Indore after the two-day Investors’ Submit,” Singh said.

He added that the state had given a boost to Startups and had drafted a policy that the Prime Minister would unveil virtually next month. The Prime Minister has also given consent to inaugurate the renovated complex of Mahakaal temple in Ujjain.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister discussed strengthening rural economy, employment, wheat export besides other issues. “The Prime Minister took a keen interest in the schemes and programmes implemented in the state and has been firmly supporting the state government for the welfare of the people,” Singh said.
