Bhawna Dehariya, who has illuminated the name of Madhya Pradesh in the world by conquering the world’s highest peak Mount Everest, will now hoist the Tiranga on Europe’s highest peak Mount Elbrus Russia (height 18,510 feet) on August 15.
Under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, AMD Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Vivek Shrotriya presented the national flag to mountaineer Bhawna and wished him success. He also talked about taking the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to maximum people and spreading fitness awareness among the people.
Under the guidance of Culture, Tourism and Religious Trust and Endowment Minister Sushri Usha Thakur and Principal Secretary Tourism Department and Managing Director Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla, the Tourism Board is continuously working to encourage talent. In this episode, mountaineer Bhavna of Tamia village of Chhindwara district reached the office of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board.
Deputy Director Adventure and Film Umakant Chaudhary also wished Bhavna. Chaudhary informed that the Tourism Board is assisting in such efforts to increase the attraction of youth towards adventure and trekking in the state.
Mountaineer Bhawna is one of the few women of the state to achieve the summit of Mount Everest on 22 May 2019. In the year 2019, on the day of Diwali, Mount Kilimanjaro of Africa continent and Mount Kojiasco of Australia continent on the day of Holi, India’s flag was waved all over the world by conquering the highest peak..
