While Mumbai police clarified that it would not book the five policemen who had visited the city in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput case, a complaint was filed against Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.
Neeraj Kumar Babllo, BJP MLA and cousin of SSR on Wednesday claimed that he had sent a legal notice to the Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut apropos his comments personal attack Sushant’s father Krishna Kumar Singh.
Raut has been asked to tender an unqualified apology for his baseless and uncharitable remarks within 48 hours failing which Babllo would file a defamation suit at Patna against the MP.
Union minister of state for health and family welfare and BJP MP from Buxar Ashwini Kumar Chaubey too come out in support of Babloo and sought an apology from Raut. Chaubey said Sena MP insulted people of Bihar and he must apologise.
Raut had alleged Sushant’s father had married twice and was not in good terms with his only son, who allegedly committed suicide on June 14 in Mumbai. He did not come to meet his only son for long, Raut added.
The Sena MP had also commented against the DGP of Bihar and had alleged Pandey was trying to contest the coming assembly elections on BJP and recalled in 2009 Lok Sabha elections, he had quit the service to contest Lok Sabha elections.
Pandey however played down stating that he would not seek any action since Raut was an “honourable” though he made uncharitable personal comments.
But political outfit Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM-S) is in no mood to give up. Party spokesman Danish Rizwan filed a complaint with Patna police against Raut, Mumbai Mayor and Mumbai police commissioner alleging they prevented Patna police from investigating the SSR death case in Mumbai.
The two weeks long row between Mumbai and Patna police ended last evening with the Mumbai police commissioner Paramveer Singh calling Bihar police chief Gupteshwar Pandey and clarifying there was no complaint filed against the visiting Bihar policemen in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Mumbai police commissioner called Pandey on telephone and said no case or complaint had been filed against the five policemen who had visited Mumbai in case of Sushant’s suicide probe.
