Maoists target timber trucks in Chhattisgarh

The suspected extremists of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) today set three trucks on fire in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.

According to reports, the three trucks had reached from Jagdalpur divisional headquarters to transport timber. The rebels set the three vehicles on fire in Hirangi Jhara village, about 55 kilometers from the district headquarters.

The scene of crime comes under the limits of Dhanora police station, about five kilometers from Rajpur.
