In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the Vishnu Deo Sai government in Chhattisgarh, as many as 41 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials have been transferred from their present postings.
Of the affected officials, 11 are District Collectors. They include Bilaspur Collector Avinash Sharan (batch 2009), who has been transferred as Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Housing Board, Raigarh Collector Kartikeya Goel (2010) to Director Civil Supplies, Sarangarh Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu (2010) to Special Secretary Panchayat, Rajnandgaon Collector Sanjay Agrawal (2012) as Collector Bilaspur, Balod Collector Indrajeet S Chandrawal (2012) as Collector Khairagarh.
The District Collector of Mungeli, Rahul Dev (2016) to Director Agriculture, Gariyaband Collector Deepak Kumar Agrawal (2016) to Controller Food and Drugs, Collector Janjgir-Champa Akash Chhikara (2017) to Deputy Secretary Housing and Environment, Collector Dantewada Mayank Chaturvedi (2017) to Collector Raigarh, Kondagaon Collector Kunal Dudawat (2017) Collector Dantewada and Collector Khairagarh Chandrakant Verma (2017) to Director Veterinary.
The 2009-batch IAS officer, Kiran Kaushal will be the new Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Marketing Federation. Bhure Sarveshwar Narendra, 2011-batch IAS officer will be the new District Collector of Rajnandgaon. The 2011-batch IAS officer, Janmejay Mahobe will be the new District Collector of Champa-Janjgir.
The 2012-batch IAS officer, Rajat Bansal has been appointed as Director, Mining and Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation.
