Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 with great enthusiasm, honoring the strength, resilience and achievements of its female workforce.
On this occasion, Shri Uday Anant Kaole, CMD, and Shri Keshav Rao, Director (Personnel), along with Smt. Alpana Shukla Rao and Smt. Rashmi Behura, Vice Presidents of Jagruti Mahila Mandal, MCL, felicitated MCL’s Female Rescue Team for their courageous and exceptional services, in a program organised at the company headquarters in Sambalpur.
Mrs. Ananya Anusuya Naik, a renowned entrepreneur and social worker, and Mrs. Namrata Jain, a cancer survivor, were the key speakers of the event, who shared their powerful stories and thoughts on women’s empowerment and gender equality.
The celebration also featured vibrant cultural performances, showcasing the rich heritage of Sambalpur and Odisha. The event was attended by members of WIPS, female employees from the company headquarters, and ladies of MCL HQ colonies.
Similar events were organised at MCL Bhubaneswar office and Area headquarters of the company.
