Raipur, March 28
SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant’s Merchant Mill that rolls out light structurals and TMT bars set a new day-record in production of TMT 32 bars on March 25.
Besides, the company also made a new shift record in the night shift of March 28. The Mill recorded a new high in production of TMT 32 bars with production of 2490 Tonnes on March 25, surpassing previous best of 2318 T on March 23.
Director I/c Bhilai Steel Plant, Anirban Dasgupta and Executive Director (Works) Anjani Kumar visited Merchant Mill on March 26 to congratulate the Mill collective for record breaking performances.
Merchant Mill has also set a new shift record on TMT 32 bars production with production of 989 T in night shift of March 27, 2022.
