Bhopal, November 22
BJP firebrand leader Uma Bharti on Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had shown his greatness by announcing to repeal the three controversial farm laws.
Addressing Narendra Modi as “my leader”, the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister took to Twitter and said the leader like Narendra Modi should live long and she prayed for it.
“I have been at the banks of Ganga in Varanasi for the past four days. I was left speechless following the PM’s announcement on November 19 about repealing farm laws, so I responded three days late,” Bharti tweeted.
Uma Bharti said they (BJP workers and cadre) could not effectively face and deal with the propaganda of the opposition parties against the farm laws. After hearing the statement of the Prime Minister, she was not feeling easy, the former Union Minister said.
She added that timely availability of seeds, fertilizer and power besides farmers having the privilege to sell their produce according to their wish could bring happiness and prosperity of farmers.
