Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday dismissed speculative reports about his being unhappy with the naming of opposition alliance at Bangalore and called it bull shit being spread by the BJP controlled media.

He said INDIA name was chosen following wide consultations and with consensus.

Talking to media persons, Nitish said there was no controversy over the election of coordinators or conveners. Claiming he was not interested in any office in INDIA, Nitish said committee would be formed in Mumbai meeting next month.

Nitish said he had lunch with other leaders before the press conference and had discussed about the contents of the press meet by Congress president and other leaders,” I was in a hurry to return to Bihar as i was scheduled to inaugurate the Malmas Mela at Rajgir the same evening. “Everything in Banaglore was done in my full agreement”, he said.

He regretted all kinds of ” stupid” things being written against him after Bangalore meet in the media. All suggestions made by me have been accepted by the team INDIA. All was well. “We are  together and united. And soon, others who are in NDA would join us”. He said the media which was under the influence of BJP would be free from next year.

Talking about the NDA meeting in New Delhi, Nitish said, “The real NDA was headed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee since 1999. Now, they are interested only in adding more numbers and in the process inducted the leaders who were expelled by him last month.” He was referring to the former Chief Minister, Jeetan Ram Manjhi and former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha.

No meeting of NDA was held in the last five years when JDU was also in the alliance, but they are holding meeting after opposition alliance meeting. Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh, President of JDU, separately said all reports about Nitish being unhappy were wrong. He is promoter of the alliance.
