Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday morning got corona vaccine at Indira Gandhi institute of medical sciences here.
After spending 30 minutes in the observation room, CM said there was no adverse effect after getting the shot. He announced every citizen would be vaccinated free of cost
Both Deputy Chief Ministers Renu Devi and Tarkeshwar Prasad besides Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Energy Minister Brijendra Prasad Yadav were also administered first doses of vaccine.
All legislators will get doses of vaccine during the budget session.
Union law, justice and IT Minister, Ravishankar Prasad will reach here on Tuesday morning to get first dose. He is member of Lok Sabha from Patna Sahib.
Health minister, Mangal Pandey said free vaccination had been started at 700 centres in the state
