Nitish paves way for son Nishant’s political debut in Bihar

Now there will be Nishant era in Janata Dal (U), it is official as son of the chief minister, Nitish Kumar will join the party.

At a meeting held at 1, Anney Marg bungalow housing CM residence, party working President, Sanjay Kumar Jha moved a resolution seeking entry of Nishant in JDU which was passed unanimously. Union Minister, Lallan Singh said “Now Nishant will lead the party”.

Neeraj Kumar, principal spokesperson of the party said Nishant will make a state wide tour. Nitish too had toured entire Bihar before joining the office.

Earlier, party legislators told CM to reconsider his decision. Most of the legislators were in years. Nitish assured them ‘I am going to Rajya Sabha, but will remain in Bihar. You feel relaxed, I will be with you.”

Nitish defended his decision to enter Lok Sabha by saying he had been member of all the Houses,except Rajya Sabha”.

Earlier, leaders like Jagannath Mishra, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Sushil Kumar Modi and Ram Kripal Yadav were members of all the four Houses in Patna and Delhi.

Nitish told the party legislators he would have control over the new ministry.Lallan Singh claimed Nitish Kumar would decide the name of his successor.
