National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) will roll over April prices of iron ore to May 2022.
The country’s largest iron ore miner said it would maintain prices of lump ore at Rs 6,100 per tonne in May 2022, while price of iron ore fines also remains unchanged at Rs 5.160 per tonne. The prices exclude royalty, District Mineral Fund (DMF), National Mineral Exploration Trust (DMET), cess, forest permit fee, and other taxes.
The revised prices would come into effect from April 30, 2022, the company said in a regulatory filing today.
In the last prices revision that came into effect from April 1, 2022, the state-run mining giant had fixed the prices of per tonne lump ore at Rs 6,100 and that of fines at Rs 5,160 a tonne.
