National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has slashed the iron ore prices by Rs 300 per tonne for the month of November.
The country’s largest iron ore miner said it had fixed the prices of lump ore at Rs 3800 per tonne while price of iron ore fines would come down to at Rs 2610 per tonne. The prices exclude royalty, District Mineral Fund (DMF), National Mineral Exploration Trust (DMET), cess, forest permit fee, and other taxes.
The revised prices would come into effect from November 17, 2022, the company said in a regulatory filing today.
The state-run miner had rolled over August-September prices of iron ore to October 2022. While it maintained prices of lump ore at Rs 4,100 per tonne in October 2022, the price of iron ore fines also remained unchanged at Rs 2910 per tonne.
