Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said there was no rule of law in Uttar Pradesh and the goons were committing the crime without any fear in the state.
Reacting to the killing of gangster Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf in a daring shot out in Prayagraj on Saturday night, Baghel on Sunday night said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityabath had claimed that the gangster and mafia had fled the state but they were plotting to kill people sitting inside the jails.
How is it possible to shoot anyone who is in a heavy police cordon? Baghel quizzed. Goons are roaming freely in Uttar Pradesh and there was no rule of law in the state, Baghel said, adding that all claims of Yogi Adityanath regarding law and order in Uttar Pradesh were false.
