New Delhi, July 26
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for development of Battery Energy Storage Projects and Renewable Energy Project for decarbonization and energy transition in the state of Bihar.
The MoU was signed on July 26, 2025 between Sarit Maheswari, CEO (NGEL & NREL) and Abdesh Kumar Singh, Director Technical (BSPGCL), shared in the presence of the Minister of Energy, Planning and Development of Government of Bihar Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Minister of Industries of Government of Bihar Nitish Mishra, ACS, Department of Industries, Secretary Department of Energy and other senior officials from Government of Bihar.
