Heads of Maintenance Meet was held at NTPC Nava Raipur on Saturday.
Chief Guest Ramesh Babu V, Director (Operations) inaugurated the meet and underlined the importance of timely maintenance of units. He further emphasized on safe and reliable power generation while ensuring environment protection.
On this occasion, Chief Guest inaugurated the Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Conference Hall at Fifth Floor of Naya Raipur Office.
In his speech, C Sivakumar, RED (WR-II, USSC & Ash NI) spoke on enhancing safety measures during work execution and provided insights on the ongoing procurement and contract related issues.
Speaking on the occasion, ED-OS Arindam Sinha stressed on the importance of safety, quality and reliability in unit operations besides timely and high-quality overhauls. He also emphasized on close monitoring of processes and execution.
The event marked with Presentation on Safety, Boiler, Electrical, C&I, BOP, Turbine, Planned Outage, CPG/PPG, etc. At the open house discussion, besides discussing on various issues pertaining to maintenance, the participants shared the best practices at their respective site.
Earlier dignitaries planted sapling near the office premises. The meet was attended by Heads of Maintenance from various projects and stations and Heads from CC Safety, USSC, COS and others.
