Raipur, May 18
The Lara station of the National Thermal Development Corporation (NTPC) Limited organised shift charge engineer meet on Wednesday.
Arindam Sinha, ED (OS) inaugurated the meet and Sinha stressed on high operational efficiency and unit availability to meet real time energy demand. The meet will continue till May 20, 2023.
Shift charge engineers across all NTPC stations are participating to actualize the strategy to increase unit reliability and competency development of power units. Theme of this meet is “Redefining Strategies for Increasing Unit Reliability and Competency Development”.
Core competency of NTPC is operational excellence. With increasing capacity and the leader in the power sector NTPC emerges as a Global Power company with its international presence. Various issues related to the operation of power plants and new developments will be discussed and shared by the participants so that they can handle it and provide reliable power and contribute for national development.
K S Naik, GM (OS), Akhilesh Singh, GM (O&M) NTPC Lara, Rajeev Ranjan, GM (FM), S K Roy, GM (Operation), Ravishankar, GM (Project) were among the participants across NTPC to attend the meet.
