NTPC Mining Ltd signed MOU with FAGMIL to boost India’s critical minerals capabilities

NTPC Mining Limited (NML) and FCI Aravali Gypsum & Minerals India Limited (FAGMIL) have entered into an MoU to strengthen collaboration in the minerals sector with focus on Critical & Strategic Minerals.

The MoU was signed by Vijay Kumar Kanungo, General Manager, NTPC Mining Limited and Rajendra Singh Rathore, General Manager from FCI Aravali Gypsum and Minerals India Limited in august presence of PK Das, CMD (FAGMIL) at Jhodhpur.

The agreement aims to build a comprehensive framework covering the entire value chain, from exploration, resource acquisition to the development of value-added end products, both within India and internationally. A key focus of the partnership is to enhance domestic capabilities, reduce import dependence, and promote self-reliance.

Both parties aim to leverage their combined technical and financial strengths to improve competitiveness, encourage knowledge sharing, technology exchange, and innovation in mineral processing and materials development.
