The NTPC (WR-II, USSC and Ash NI) celebrated company’s Raising Day-2023 at its headquarters in Naya Raipur.
Regional Executive Director (WR-II, USSC and Ash NI) C Sivakumar was the chief guest at the function that started with hoisting of NTPC Flag followed by NTPC Geet sung by all in attendance.
Addressing the gathering, Sivakumar highlighted the glorious history of NTPC during the last 48 years and its contribution in the development of the country. He also spoke on the new initiatives and achievements of NTPC with focus on Renewable energy and adoption of new technologies.
In his speech, the Chief Guest also spoke on accomplishment of NTPC Naya Raipur in the area of Commercial, Unified Shared Services Centre (USSC), Station Engineering, Corporate Operation Services, Ash New Initiatives, CSR, etc.
Sivakumar also threw light on the performance of NTPC Power Plants in Western Region-II besides opportunities and challenges ahead. He also spoke on the initiatives like Ash Utilisation and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) to enrich the environment. During this occasion, the dignitaries Cut the cake and released balloon to mark the occasion.
Later, all joined the Live Telecast of NTPC CMD’s address. Arindam Sinha, Executive Director (OS); Smt C Padmaja, President and other office bearers of Arpita Mahila Samiti; NTPC officials and their family members were present in large numbers on this occasion.
