The employees of power giant NTPC Limited at Naya Raipur in Chhattisgarh participated enthusiastically in the ‘Shramdaan for Swachhata’ event on Sunday.
Large numbers of employees from NTPC Naya Raipur joined for Shramdaan, a cleanliness initiative as part of Swachh Bharat on October 1, 2023. The event was held at NTPC Naya Raipur office and was led by C Sivakumar, Regional Executive Director (RED) (WR-II, USSC and ASH NI). ED-OS Arindam Sinha, office bearers of Arpita Mahila Samiti, CGMs, GMs, employees and their family members as well as associates joined the cleanliness drive to usher in a cleaner future.
As part of ‘Shramdaan se Swachhata’, NTPC employees and their family members cleaned the surrounding areas of NTPC Naya Raipur office. The objective behind this initiative is to achieve a “Garbage Free India” by highlighting visible, high-level cleanliness through Shramdaan and Jan Bhagidari.
On Monday, the nation commemorated the 154th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation, whose inspiring ideas continue to impact many. The day also signifies the ninth anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014.
