NTPC to Host Indian Power Stations O&M Conference (IPS 2025) at Raipur

NTPC Ltd., India’s largest integrated power utility, is set to organize the Indian Power Stations O&M Conference (IPS 2025) from 13th to 15th February 2025 in Raipur.

The annual conference commemorates the commissioning of NTPC’s first thermal power unit at Singrauli in 1982— a historic milestone that paved the way for decades of excellence in the power sector. The event will be inaugurated by Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, in the presence of other senior officials from the Ministry of Power and power sector PSUs.

As NTPC celebrates its golden jubilee this year, IPS 2025 promises to be bigger than ever, bringing together industry pioneers, professionals, and experts for engaging discussions, knowledge sharing, and insights. The theme of IPS 2025, ‘Reliable and Sustainable Generation, Asset Management, and Energy Transition,’ aptly reflects the transitional phase being experienced by power sector today.

The 2025 edition of IPS has received an overwhelming response, with over 400 authors submitting technical papers showcasing the latest advancements, best practices and innovations shaping the future of power generation. Ninety selected technical papers by various organizations, OEMs, IPPs, Government regulatory & statutory bodies, Universities, EPRI and other reputed research institutes across the globe will be presented during the conference.

A key attraction of IPS 2025 will be the Techno Galaxy Exhibition, featuring cutting- edge technologies, artificial intelligence, digitalisation and creative solutions from numerous vendors and manufacturers. This platform will enable industry stakeholders to explore innovations that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability in power plant operations.

The exhibition will also feature models and performance highlights of various NTPC stations represented through their respective regional headquarters. By fostering collaboration, idea exchange, and innovation, IPS 2025 aims to pave the way for a more reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible power generation.
