On the occasion of Independence Day celebrations, Uttra Club, Northern Region HQ, Lucknow, distributed motorised tricycles to specially-abled individuals of Lucknow under its CSR initiative on August 15,2025.
The distribution was carried out under the guidance of Smt. Bipasa Deb, President, Uttra Club, in the esteemed presence of Smt. Sangita Singha Ray, Vice President; Smt. Nupur Dutta, Secretary; senior members and members of Uttra Club.
In collaboration with NTPC-NRHQ, Uttra Club handed over five motorised tricycles to beneficiaries identified by Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Vibhag, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Mobility support was an urgent need for these individuals. The motorised tricycles will significantly improve their daily lives by enhancing independent movement and reducing reliance on external assistance.
This initiative highlights Uttra Club’s deep commitment to empowering communities and creating an inclusive society.
