Raipur, January 26
The Western Region-II (WR-II) of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited celebrated the 73th Republic Day at its headquarters located in Chhattisgarh’s Nava Raipur with pomp, pageantry and patriotism.
The Regional Executive Director (West II and USSC), Anil Kumar Pandey unfurled the National Tri-colour and addressed the gathering. He paid homage to the nation builders and spoke about NTPC significant role in the progress of the Nation. He also highlighted the contribution of different factions posted at Nava Raipur office like CPG-1, Station Engineering, OS etc.
The event was marked amidst social distancing and following all necessary COVID guidelines and protocols.
In all, 17 employees were also conferred with Meritorious Award for their exceptional contribution in their workspace. Tricolour balloons were also released to mark the occasion
Prominent among those who graced the occasion included Smt. Rajeswari Pandey, President Arpita Mahila Samiti, A K Tripathy, ED(OS), all GM’s and Smt Uma Tripathy besides senior member of Ladies Club.
The program was webcasted which was joined by all employees and family members.
