National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Western Region (WR) II celebrated the Raising Day of the company today at the office premises located in Naya Raipur.
Executive Director (Operation Services I/C) A K Tripathy hoisted the NTPC flag and addressed the employees and family members gathered on the occasion. He also highlighted the performance of NTPC and the various achievements of WR II Stations, CC-OS Group and USSC.
The assembled employees along with family also attended the live webcast of the Raising Day celebration and address of Gurdeep Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), NTPC from EOC Noida. During the event, special stress was given to maintain social distancing and following all COVID protocols.
NTPC which started its journey way back at 1975 today marked 47th year of its journey and the entire team of WR II joined in the celebration today. Currently NTPC has an installed capacity of 67657 MW.
Awadhesh Kumar, ED(OS), Ashish Kundu, CGM (USSC), all General Managers and senior members of the Ladies Club along with employees and family members were present on the occasion.
