The NTPC Western Region-II Headquarters (WR2HQ) conducted the 29th Regional Management Committee Meeting (RMC) at Raipur on Wednesday.
Chairman of WR-II RMC, Diwakar Kaushik, RED (WR-II) & CEO (NSPCL) inaugurated the meeting in presence of HOPs from Lara, Sipat, Khargone, Korba, Gadarwara and CEO – Jhabua alongwith senior officials from WR-II Headquarters, WR-II Projects and Corporate Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, Kaushik said that NTPC with more than 85 GW contributes significantly in development of the country. Actualising NTPC’s goal, WR-II with an installed capacity of 10100 MW and with addition of another 4000 MW in near future, plays a crucial role. He further urged the senior
officials to align projects’ progress in line with the company’s long-term goal with focus on Safety, Quality, Compliance of Environment Norms and Ash Utilisation besides impactful CSR for inclusive growth.
During the day-long meet, senior officials deliberated on critical issues pertaining to Safety, Annual Performance Target, Enterprise Risk Management, Finance Internal Audit Point, HR Critical Issues, Cross Functional Issues, Overhauling, Forced Outage, BTL, ZLD, Net Zero, etc.
