Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is leading a campaign for anti-BJP front, has invited leaders of 18 opposition parties for a summit meeting on June 12 here.
Nitish told media persons on Sunday invitations have been sent to the Presidents of 18 parties for a comprehensive discussion on formation of an United front against BJP for the 2024 general elections.
Nitish had earlier met leaders of different political parties in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and other places to strengthen his anti-BJP front campaign.
JDU on Sunday organised a state wide dharna in protest against inauguration of new Parliament building by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. At Patna, leaders sat on dharna at Ambedkar statue opposite Patna High Court.
Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee also organized a protest march from Boring Road square to Ambedkar statue.
