Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Dr Mohan Bhagwat today said overall efforts were going on to make the country self-reliant (atmanirbhar) and self-sufficient.
“This country (India) is once again going to inspire the world to follow it in trudging down the right path,” Dr Bhagwat said while addressing the concluding session of the regional committee of RSS.
The meeting that was attended by RSS office-bearers from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, reviewed the services accorded by the organisation in combating Covid-19, helping the migrant labourers and others.
Dr Bhagwat said the country’s land and climatic conditions besides tradition and beliefs could enable one to take a pledge to make India self-reliant. There is no difficulty in doing so, he added.
“For the self-respect and self-reliance of the country, as an individual or as a group, it is our responsibility to make our country self-reliant,” he said, adding that if one adopts the necessary disciplines in the life, India will once again emerge to trudge down on right track and inspire the world follow.
Stressing on boosting the rural economy, the Sarsanghchalak said the small and medium enterprises should emphasize on quality. “The feeling of Swadeshi has emerged among people,” he added.
