Patna court admits complaint against Rahul, Tejashwi

The chief judicial magistrate, Manish Kumar Upadhaya on Wednesday admitted a complaint against leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and three other leaders under different sections of BNS for allegedly damaging the reputation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by hurling abusive languages against his late mother.

The CJM court recorded the statement of complainant, Awadesh Kumar Pandey and fixed September 10 as the next date.

Pandey, who is a senior central government counsel, in his petition alleged in presence of Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav,Mukesh sahni,highly derogatory comments were made against PM mother which hurt the reputation of Mr Narendra Modi.

He claimed one Mohammad Rizvi on August ,28,2025 at a rally of Vote Adhikar Yatra made filthy comments on the deceased mother of Mr Narendra Modi and committed crimes under different sections of BNS. He cited statements of three advocates in support of his allegations.

Meanwhile, Bihar unit of BJP has given a call for half day Bihar bandh on Thursday.
