State-run power major NTPC Limited has been ranked in the top spot amongst all CPSUs for the Government E-Marketplace (GeM) procurement.
The company received “Platinum Award” as Top Organisation with response to GeM Procurement of staggering Rs 24,216 crore of gross merchandise value (GMV) in the financial year 2022-23. Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is an online platform for public procurement in India.
Gurdeep Singh, CMD NTPC and C Sivakumar, RED (WR-II & USSC) received the award from Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce & Industry in a function held on June 26, 2023 at Vanijya Bhavan, New Delhi.
Upon receiving the award, C Sivakumar appreciated team USSC (Unified Shared Services Centre) for its outstanding performance and hoped this will further motivate the team to achieve even greater success in the days to come.
