Raipur, June 5
NTPC Nava Raipur celebrated World Environment Day on June 05, 2025 with holding of Pledge and Tree Plantation.
Led by P K Mishra, Regional Executive Director (Western Region-II and Ash NI), the programme witnessed participation of employees in large numbers. This year the theme is: Ending Plastic Pollution Globally.
At a program held at NTPC Office, A K Shukla, Executive Director (Ash NI) and P K Mishra administered the environment pledge to all the participants in Hindi and English respectively.
Later, all NTPC employees joined at the Mass Tree Plantation programme organised at IIIT Naya Raipur. Faculties, staff and students alongwith Dr. Srinivasa K G, Dean (Academics) and Registrar, IIIT Naya Raipur joined hands at the green initiative to make the world greener.
