The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, welcomed President of France Emmanuel Macron in the capital city of Jaipur on Thursday.
French President Emmanuel Macron will be the Chief Guest at the parade, which is set to showcase India’s rich cultural diversity, unity and progress; its military prowess on the back of increasing indigenous capabilities, and the growing Nari Shakti.
He said that it is a matter of great pride that he will be taking part in our Republic Day celebrations tomorrow. The Prime Minister posted on X: “Welcome to India, my friend President Emmanuel Macron. I am happy that President Macron begins his India visit from Jaipur in Rajasthan, a land with rich culture, heritage and talented people.”
