Raipur, March 23
President Droupadi Murmu will be on a day visit to Chhattisgarh on Monday.
A state government communication said she will reach the capital Raipur on March 24 on a one-day visit to Chhattisgarh and will attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.
The President will reach Swami Vivekananda Airport Raipur at 10.35 am on Monday and will leave directly for Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. She will attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from 11.15 am.
Governor Ramen Deka, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr Raman Singh, Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant and members of the Legislative Assembly will be present in the programme.
The President will leave for the airport straight away from the Vidhan Sabha and fly to Odisha. On Monday, she will also attend the foundation day ceremony of Bharatiya Biswabasu Shabar Samaj at Kaliapalli in Nayagarh district of Odisha.
