The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is visiting Madhya Pradesh on August 12 to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for different projects.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told reporters after planting saplings at the garden located at Shyamala Hills here today that the Prime Minister would give a number of projects to Madhya Pradesh during his visit.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation for Sant Ravidas Temple and Memorial at Badkuma in Sagar. The magnificent temple will come up with a cost of Rs 100 crore. The Chief Minister said the Prime Minister would perform the Bhumi Pujan for the expansion projects of Bina Refinery Petrochemical. The BPCL’s refinery has been operational in Madhya Pradesh since 2011, now it will be expanded to make petrochemicals. BPCL will spend about Rs 50,000 crore on this project. Tax exemption and facilities have been made available to BPCL by the state government.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation for 47 kilometers Mori-Kori-Vidisha-Hinautia Package-1 ‘Four-Lane’ and Hinautia-Melua Package-2 ‘Two-Lane’ roads. The projects will entail an investment of Rs 1000 crore. It would provide better connectivity in Central India and tourists could easily reach the Buddha Stupa of our World Heritage Sanchi, Ashoka Pillar and cave temples built on the rocks of Udayagiri.

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister would also inaugurate the doubling of the Kota-Bina rail route under the Ministry of Railways on which Rs 2476 crore will be spent.
